tiritiri Matangi Island

Last week we went to Tiritiri Matangi Island we arrived at 10 to 11 a'Clock. When we arrived we went to are guides to show as around the place the first thing we could see was a duck but it was walking to the lake to on the way up we could see a fantail in the weeds and my favourite bird was a black robin this bird is small like a fantail and I very fast. The Fantail uses it's Tail to fly. Now I can use this to help me With inquiry because we are studying with animals that are native to New Zealand. Here are some photos of the day.

school sculpture

this maths we have been making are own school we all got a book that showed as what we had to do we got are rulers to measure the the class as they were in different shapes. so now we had to put it on to a google drawing and we made a table so that its in squares then highlighting it and putting it to a colour after that we made a school but putting it to together. Here's mine hope you like it

Movie Making

Hello bloggers. It's 10/8/18 in class we made movies but this one is the worst! I even hate it. But others had way better movies. We had a limit of 40 mins of creating new ones and then downloading them. I could have gone to a place  where its quiet. It was fun to play with this app and make one movie it was also good for us to find out how to make some movies like stop motion movies and make them short and cool. But I think it could be better sorry about the noise but It is about cars doing a race to the other side. hope you like it, please use headphones.                                            Thanks for watching

Improving comments

Hi I making a new blog post about me Improving comments.
Today we had to make a comment to post to are friends and then screenshot are work to make improvements. But we had a list to make sure that we have every thing because this would make a great comment. My changes were that hi need to have something thoughtful like you could do some more photos to make it look better. But I thing that he could have done some writing. My partner was Bilal and we read each others blog posts. This was fun to see how good it is to me and it was hard and fun at the same time

Des hunt visits.

                                        Hi bloggers 

today, Des hunt came to Waikowhai Primary School. With he's wife Lynne and he is a author that writes stories for kids about 9-12 years old he involved aventce and science to solve a book that went wrong but he tried to publish the last tuatara but they they said no because it was not that inserting. So he give 20 copy's and 4 made it to the end.

  My favourite part of the this awesome part of this journey was seeing how to make he's Reader's to get into the story so he you's ed 12 marbles to make it go up a hill to show as how the reader can get hooked in and hit a dong. It was also a was to show how fores works at the start he you's ed a marble

 to hit the magnet and then the marble hit the other magnet and that marble hit the other magnet hitting the dong as case holds the dong.

Now I have seen the presentation.

I am going to read more Des hunt book's.

 like the sunken forest and Deadly feathers.

This can be a new journey for me to read more Des hunt books and learn Science.

ANZAC

Over the past few days we have been learning about Anzac like today we have been doing are dairy as if we were fighting in the war. Mine is about the battle of the bulge here's my writing.   
The 25 of December 1944

I'm running to the other turrets to give some ammo they were died dry last night from the attack by the Germans lucky we got some some help from the English. Today the p47s and the 234,324,and 769 squad are bombing Germany

Running back to the tent seeing dead body's from last night going back home. Are velechels and tanks going past to keep steady for the front line walking past to the tent as more ammo and food as are comder just died last battle as we got a map to see where we are next going to move up something's coming down from the sky people start yelling get to cover me and my team get ready to attack are tanks destroyed with only tropes trying to find the radio are new commander Rex could hear if we need any help from the radio with the snipers in white snow camouflaged into the snow. As smoke grandarnds come in as we put on are gas masks on so we don’t choke.

this all I did to day but there will be more. I like to learn about world war but I no a lot about world war two world war two was about 5 years but this all so helped us learn new things and very in portent. we learn more about this week.

Animals

This term we have been doing some inquiry about animals. We have made a slide show. We had to describe about animals on every page. There are words that have facts about what they look like and their body parts. This was very fun to do. I wish I had more to do to how it is.
